The Proper Environment for Operating CobraFlex Printers

PLEASE NOTE:  FOR YOUR PRINTER TO FUNCTION, IT IS MANDATORY THAT YOUR UNIT BE LOCATED IN AN AREA THAT MATCHES THE FOLLOWING ENVIRONMENTAL PARAMETERS


No Powder CobraFlex Printer


Your printer must be in a climate-controlled environment at all times. Both printer inks and adhesives are sensitive to both heat and cold


Your printer's environment must not be

  1. Too Hot-If a printer is too hot, you run the risk of overheating your printer's power supply, headboard, main board headboards, and print heads as well as causing the ink to discolor or not adhere properly.
  2. Too Cold- If it's too cold, inks have trouble flowing which invariably causes clogs
  3. Too Dirty or Too Dusty- Your printer can not work properly in a dirty or dusty environment. Your printer uses a fan to cool itself. These fans can suck dust into the motors which can cause your printer's encoder strip to have issues, or even to fail.


Your printer must have the following environment:

  1. It must be in a climate-controlled environment at all times. Printer room temperature should be between 60°F minimum-80°F maximum.

  2. Humidity levels must be between 35%-65%- Our printers operate best at 40% minimum to 60% maximum.

  3. An air pneumatic heat press must be installed with at least 110 psi to 150 psi.

Your printer must be in a climate-controlled environment at all times. Both printer inks and adhesives are sensitive to both heat and cold


Your printer's environment must not be

  1. Too Hot-If a printer is too hot, you run the risk of overheating your printer's power supply, headboard, main board headboards, and print heads as well as causing the ink to discolor or not adhere properly.

  3. An air pneumatic heat press must be installed with at least 140 psi to 75 psi.
