Color Matching with the Pantone Chart and Color Picker

This is how you color match a custom color or a color that may not be printing as vibrantly as you expected. Download this Pantone color chart and print it out with the printer. This chart will show you how the colors actually print, which allows you to see the closest match. After you have your match, open this same chart in Adobe and choose the closest matching color. You can drag and drop the square color boxes from the chart to your current artwork or you can right click the square color choice and copy and paste into your artwork.

This will then give you a Pantone color match. Since you already know what the color looks like from the chart printing, it should match better.
