***Please note: Effective April 2024, CobraFlex will not support any new installations of Flexi. We will continue to provide limited support for machines with an existing install***
Next we are going to walk you through the settings on how to produce the finished
RIP files that will print your artwork.
Open Flexi.
Click on the Cobra24 Tab, Select Add Job.
Navigate to your artwork location and make your selection.
(Keep in mind your file will need to be a PNG format in order to produce the white and adhesive channels.)
Now you should see the Job or Graphic loaded into the software.
This screen shows you the color profile, size and general descriptions of the file.
Double click on the Job inside the left panel to bring up the settings.
Here you can manipulate the artwork as you need it to be placed, duplicated and arranged.
Custom Size
Make sure your width is set to 23.5. This will be the width of the film sheet provided by CobraFlex.
Using your mouse you can re-size the art and or move it around the work area.
These box settings can produce whatever layout you desire. Multiples, Spacing, Margins,
and Position.
Once you have the desired layout, make sure that the transparency is on. This is located on the top mini tool bar icons.
Select the last tab, magic wand, called "Transparency ".
On the top, make sure that the Create Transparency Background check box is checked.
Towards the bottom make sure that the "Use Alpha Channel Data for White" check box is also checked. Select the OKAY button to save the layout and Job settings you created.
Next we will RIP the file. Right click the Job in the list, select SEND. This will begin the RIP
process.
Navigate to your save location and give the file a new name. Hit save and you will then see the Job move locations in the work panel area and start to RIP the file. It will show you the progress.
