Here is a video on how to setup the dryer temperatures in each channel and standard electrical hook-up.
In order to determine your dryer settings and get the temperatures dialed in correctly, you can run a series of (5) tests for (5) different temps.
Here is a link to a finished Leader PRN file that will follow the main graphic test.
Download Leader PRN File
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lu-vYEvstRPoCnl7ldM6s8584BX5yXsv/view?usp=sharing
( Just open it in the Well print software, it is already ripped and a finished file)
The file is created as a feed through leader file, it basically will print the color bars continuously so that our good test image can make its way all the way through the dryer, via the head and printer timing cycle, with no user input.
In other words, you will print a test image 1st, of your choosing then print this leader file right behind it.( Small or NO Delay if possible).
This will then advance the film through the dryer enough to have our test print be dried and timed properly.
Keep in mind, every time you change the temperature setting, allow 15 minutes for the dryer to properly get up to the new temperature setting.
Test # 1 : Change Temp in each channel to 75 degree's
Run the test graphic 1st, then the leader file.
Test # 2 : Change Temp in each channel to 80 degree's
Run the test graphic 1st, then the leader file.
Test # 3 : Change Temp in each channel to 85 degree's
Run the test graphic 1st, then the leader file.
Test # 4 : Change Temp in each channel to 90 degree's
Run the test graphic 1st, then the leader file.
Test # 5 : Change Temp in each channel to 95 degree's
Run the test graphic 1st, then the leader file.
When all test are done, cut off the graphics from each test and mark each one...
T1, T2, T3, T4, T5.
This will tell us when exactly your prints are actually dry enough. After these test are done, contact us via the ticket and we can call you to go over the results and pick which setting is best for your products.
